About Future Tech Lab
Future Tech Lab is a focused resource for anyone who actually uses AI language models on a regular basis and wants to get meaningfully better results from them. We write specifically about prompt engineering — the practical skill of crafting inputs that produce genuinely useful outputs from tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and similar large language models.
We do not try to cover every corner of the technology industry. Generic “AI news” and broad technology commentary are everywhere already. What we focus on instead is narrower and more useful: the actual techniques, patterns, and troubleshooting approaches that make the difference between a frustrating AI interaction and a genuinely productive one.
What You Will Find Here
- Specific prompting techniques, explained with real example prompts you can adapt directly to your own work, not just abstract descriptions of concepts.
- Troubleshooting guides for common AI output problems — vague answers, inconsistent formatting, hallucinated details, and similar frustrations that come up in actual daily use.
- Comparisons between approaches, tested directly rather than described theoretically, since prompting techniques that work well for one task often do not transfer cleanly to another.
- Honest assessments of what specific techniques actually accomplish, including where they fall short, rather than treating every new prompting trend as universally beneficial.
Our Approach
Everything we publish comes from genuine hands-on testing with the actual AI tools available today. We do not publish content based purely on theoretical understanding of how language models work without verifying that our specific recommendations actually produce the results we describe.
We also try to stay honest about genuine limitations. Prompt engineering is a real, valuable skill, but it is not a magic solution to every AI limitation, and we aim to be clear about that distinction throughout our guides.
